All components within and including cylinder block and cylinder head(s), including timing gear but excluding flywheel and starter ring gear and damage to valves or valve seats when caused by burning. Decarbonisation and external oil leaks caused by gasket failure also excluded.
The casing, all internal parts (for both manual and automatic transmissions) - excluding external operating linkage, overdrive (if fitted), starter ring gear and torque converter on automatic transmission.
The following parts are covered against mechanical failure or oil contamination - clutch disc, pressure plate and release bearing, but excluding clutch cables, linkage, hydraulic action, burnt out parts and general wear and tear.
DIFFERENTIAL AND FINAL DRIVE
All internal parts and their casing rigid or flexible drive shafts and their couplings on front or rear wheel drive vehicles (excluding wheel bearings and their seals).
All other parts not listed are excluded, as are oils, filters, anti-freeze, fluids and sundries.
1. WHAT IS COVERED?
Only the items listed are covered in the event of mechanical breakdown. Mechanical failure or damage due to negligence, competitive trials or testing, or loss due to whatever cause are excluded. Damage caused by a failure of any item not covered by your policy or consequential loss of any kind is naturally excluded.
2. HOW MUCH AM I COVERED FOR?
The limits of liability are (all including VAT): Maximum per claim £250.
3. WHERE AM I COVERED?
This policy covers breakdowns arising in the United Kingdom only except as in 4 below.
4. CAN I USE THE CAR ABROAD?
The Territorial Limits of the Policy of Insurance extend to Europe for a maximum period of 60 days during the total period of the contract, subject to your paying the Continental repair and claiming reimbursement against a receipted invoice.

N.B. please note all warranties become void unless vehicle is serviced to manufacturers specification.
Warranty services to be carried out by Servicecare unless permission is given by Servicecare for the service to be carried out elsewhere.
This is a mechanical breakdown warranty and therefore does not apply to wear and tear defects involving the gradual breakdown or deterioration of the part(s) covered, consistent with the age, mileage and use of the vehicle.
If a fault becomes apparent during the manufacturer's warranty it must be put right before cover takes effect as Servicecare will not be responsible for any claims so arising.
